At some point in Bangkok when you’re all ‘templed out’, try a change of tactics and enjoy the utter beauty of Wat Arun from across the river, iced beverage in hand as the sun goes down.

Situated within the Arun Residence Hotel, at the end of what initially looks like a dead-end, it’s quite hidden but well worth seeking out:

Get there at 5pm when it opens for the best seats in the house,

  1. Unfortunately I’ve never been ‘templed in’ !! Nevertheless we will seek out this haven on our stay in Bangkok later this year. ( Perhaps after a shopping or eating frenzy 🙂 ) x x
